The end user or testing professional assumes all liability and responsibility for deploying the device in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recognized industry standards. Hardware Servicing, Platform Access, and Transfer of Legacy Equipment To maintain the integrity of our equipment fleet and ensure quality assurance, GE operates under a managed hardware program. For any legacy diagnostic devices previously sold, cloud services, software licenses, data hosting, and platform access are strictly non-transferable. Third-party purchasers of legacy hardware acquire only the physical unit and receive no implied software access or user account rights. Prior to onboarding, activation, or data provisioning under any new user account, privately transferred legacy hardware must be submitted directly to GE for factory recertification, comprehensive testing, mandatory hardware revisions, and calibration to meet current compliance standards. Units exceeding 24 months without documented factory service are ineligible for standard calibration and require comprehensive internal rebuilds at the purchaser's expense. GE reserves the right to refuse service, parts replacement, or platform access for discontinued legacy models. We assume no liability for the operational accuracy or compliance of equipment acquired through unauthorized secondary markets or private sales. Individuals seeking to acquire or transfer legacy monitors should contact GE prior to completing any transaction to verify eligibility, recertification requirements, and applicable fees.
